Certificate Expired?

My Netro app on my phone and iPad will not let me sign in today. Instead, it shows an error message saying the Netro website certificate has expired and it’s dangerous to login. This is concerning because I did not know that if the website is down, I do not have any control over watering my lawn. None. Is there a way to get around this or do I need to return my sprite 6 smart water controller?

Ok, it does seem to work now. I’m still concerned that the website status can cause my app to not function.
